Are you taking advantage of the Great Southern Waterfront (GSW) transformation?
Be Part of the Story
On August 18, 2019, Singapore's Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, announced plans to transform the Great Southern Waterfront (GSW) into a hub for urban living. This development aims to create Singapore's next premier residential area, encompassing both public and private housing in the southern region of the country.
Stretching over 30 kilometers of coastline from Gardens by the Bay East to Pasir Panjang, the GSW will cover 2,000 hectares of land—six times larger than Marina Bay and twice the size of Punggol. Investors are keen to know when this transformation will take place and what it will entail.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is the primary agency responsible for overseeing urban planning in this area. Once the port terminal structures at Tanjong Pagar and Pasir Panjang are relocated, it will present a significant opportunity for urban living.
